Do I need approval for concrete work in Canberra?
Often, yes. There are no councils in the ACT, so a new driveway crossing over the verge needs TCCS approval, while slabs, sheds and structural work go through a private building certifier. We'll tell you what applies to your job and help with the paperwork so nothing holds up the pour.
How long will my concrete job take?
Most home jobs run from a few days to around two weeks, start to finish, including prep, the pour and curing time. Bigger commercial work takes longer because of the extra digging, steel and finishing, and in winter we allow for slower cures on cold mornings.
